Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
Helllllloooo Fall!
Just kidding.
I know it is still August but I feel like it’s never too early to start drinking pumpkin spice.
I know I can’t be the only one to feel like this!
I am the type of person who can eat and drink pumpkin year round. It’s not just a fall staple for me to enjoy from the months of September to November. The pantry always has canned pumpkin waiting for me in it and I have even dreamt of a day where I can grow and can my own pumpkin but that’s for another day.
Today I’m going to tell you how to make your own pumpkin spice coffee creamer.
Before I tell you how to make this delicious homemade coffee creamer I want you to run to your fridge real quick and read the ingredients on the back of your coffee creamer that you’ve bought from the store. I’ll wait while you read!
Chances are it probably has one or more of the following ingredients in it: carrageenan, cellulose gel or gum, gellan gum, vegetable oil (soybean or canola), and/or natural flavor. All of which are not great for you to be having every single day in your morning coffee so that’s why I’m going to help you out and give you the recipe to make your own coffee creamer that is free of all of the above.
Keep in mind when you’re making this homemade coffee creamer you want to try to use organic ingredients if you can. Your local health foods store or even grocery store should carryl organic ingredients to include the sweetened condensed milk which took me two trips to find so don’t give up!
Pro tip: as you’re preparing to make this make sure your can says pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling. The two are different and you only want canned pumpkin puree, trust me on this one!
Drum Roll Please!!!
I present to you your new favorite coffee creamer that you will be making again and again as the seasons change.
